Rani Mode is an Australian womenswear label created for the woman between worlds.

Born from a simple frustration, we set out to create pieces that make space for culture within contemporary fashion. Clothing that feels considered, modern and effortless, without asking you to leave part of yourself behind.

Our first piece, the Rani Drape Coat, was designed with this idea in mind. A coat that could sit naturally over a saree or lehenga, complement an abaya or thobe, and feel just as at home with the clothes you wear every day. Rather than adapting existing silhouettes, we want to create pieces with the realities of our wardrobes in mind from the beginning.

Designed in Melbourne, Rani Mode celebrates the intersection of identities, drawing from heritage without being bound by it. We create with intention—focusing on thoughtful design, enduring materials and pieces that feel relevant beyond a single season.
